The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medical image processing system for acquiring a projection image necessary for a basic inspection on the basis of an image photographed for tomosynthesis and transmitting a tomographic image of a region of interest, a method therefor, and a computer-readable recording medium in which a program for implementing the method is recorded. To this end, the present invention comprises: a first tomographic image acquisition unit for acquiring tomographic image data of a subject; a projection image acquisition unit for acquiring projection image data of the subject using the tomographic image data acquired by the first tomographic image acquisition unit; a region of interest (ROI) configuration unit for configuring an ROI in the projection image data acquired by the projection image acquisition unit; and a second tomographic image acquisition unit for acquiring tomographic image data which corresponds to the ROI configured by the ROI configuration unit. |
