Disclosed is a spindle motor to improve manufacturing yield. The spindle motor includes a base member which has an installation member made of a magnetic material, a sleeve which is fixed to a mounting part formed in the base member, a shaft which is rotatably installed in the arbor hole of the sleeve, a rotor hub which is installed to the upper part of the shaft and interworks with the shaft to rotate, a driving magnet which is fixed to the lower surface of the rotor hub, and a coil which is fixed to the installation member to face the driving magnet.
