BRAIL DISPLAY, ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING DIRECTION OF HAND READING

The present invention relates to a Braille display, an electronic device comprising the same, and a method to set the direction of reading. According to the present invention, the Braille display may comprise: a base having through holes formed in a vertical direction; pins of which each is inserted to the through holes to ascend and descend between a ′on′ position and an ′off′ position; a sensor which detects input from the pins being touched; and a control module which sets the direction of reading based on the input from touching the pins and controls elevation of the pins so as to represent corresponding Braille while considering the direction of reading. The ′on′ position corresponds to a ′bump′ code among Braille codes by having the pin pushed out to the upper side of the base. The ′off′ position corresponds to a ′no bump′ code among Braille codes by having the pin stored inside the through hole.
