PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ligneous molding article having a design surface having high level design property, on which, on a surface side part, a clear layer with prescribed thickness is integrated with high adhesion, and a method for advantageously producing such a ligneous molding article excellent in design property.SOLUTION: Provided is a ligneous molding article 10 formed of a ligneous base material 12 whose surface is a design surface 16, and a clear layer 14 which is integrated and laminated on the design surface 16 of the ligneous base material 12 and having light transmissivity. The ligneous base material 12 is formed by performing fluid flow molding operation of a ligneous material in which a predetermined thermosetting resin material is immersed, and the clear layer 14 is formed and made transparent by heating and compressing with the ligneous material, a fiber sheet formed of a vegetable fiber and in which the thermosetting resin material is immersed, in the fluid flow molding operation of the ligneous material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
