PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide identification of genetic variation in affected tissue.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of determining tissue-specific genetic variation. For example in a specific mode, a method of using a specific cell type derived from an iPS cell for differential molecular analysis of tissue-specific genetic variation is described. In a first embodiment, there is provided a method of determining the existence of tissue-specific genetic variation in a subject to be tested for a gene structure of a selected control, which includes: (a) a step of obtaining a genetic material of a differentiated cell of selected tissue in which the differentiated cell is prepared by differentiation of an artificial pluripotent stem (iPS) cell obtained by reprogramming of a somatic cell of the subject to be tested; and (b) a step of inspecting the genetic material of the differentiated cell, comparing one or more gene structure of the genetic material with one or more control gene structures, and determining the existence of such genetic variation in a cell of the tissue of the subject to be tested.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
