PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in appearance characteristics such as a color of a film end (roll end) after being melt molded, film breakage resistance, vapor deposition defect suppressing property, and an adhesion strength of a vapor-deposited layer, and to provide a film, a multilayer structure and a packaging material each of which uses the resin composition.SOLUTION: The present invention is a resin composition which contains inorganic particles and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer obtained by saponifying a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl ester. A molecular weight of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer measured using a gel permeation chromatograph after heat treatment in a nitrogen atmosphere at 220°C for 50 hours satisfies a condition expressed by the following expression (1) (Ma-Mb)/Ma<0.45...(1)Ma: molecular weight in terms of PMMA at the maximum value of the peak measured by a differential refractive index detector Mb: molecular weight in terms of PMMA at the maximum value of the absorption peak at a wavelength of 220 nm measured by an ultraviolet-visible light absorbance detector.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
