PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trank roller of a crawler type travel device capable of preventing the invasion of a foreign matter such as earths into a roller shell thereby to support the roller shell stably for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A roller shell 11 is rotatably supported by a pair of roller bearings 12 having a self-lubricating property, and an axial load to be loaded by the roller shell 11 is dispersed by a pair of roller bearings 12, thereby to prevent damage of the bearing. An opening of an outer side end part of the roller shell 11 is closed by attaching a lid body 16, and an end opening on an inner side is sealed by a seal device 20 thereby to prevent invasion of soil. In the seal device 20, a ground packing 23 is assembled in a seal space 22 between an external diameter face of a stuffing box 21 fitted on a shaft 10 and an internal diameter face of an inner side end portion of the roller shell 11, and is pushed onto a flange 21a of the stuffing box 21 by a packing holding cover 24 having an outer periphery fixed by bolts 25 on the inner side end face of the roller shell 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
