PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can efficiently reduce wrinkles on a sheet.SOLUTION: When a digital composite machine 11 detects depression of a selection key 59a to "select" in a wrinkle smoothing function (YES in S13), stops the operation of a developing unit 41 (S14); conveys a sheet 39 with wrinkles to be smoothed from a manual paper feed tray 28 to the inside of the digital composite machine 11 (S15); operates a spraying unit 61 at a timing when the sheet 39 with wrinkles to be smoothed is conveyed to a conveying belt 47 (S17); subsequently conveys the sheet 39 with wrinkles to be smoothed to a fixing unit 51 (S18); then smooths wrinkles on the sheet 39 with wrinkles to be smoothed with a heat roller 52 and a pressure roller 54; and subsequently ejects the sheet 39 with wrinkles to be smoothed to an ejection tray 30 (S19).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
