A valve opening/closing timing control device that, when an electromotive actuator rotates a driven-side rotor and a drive-side rotor relative to each other, can suppress the occurrence of knocking. The control device is provided with a gear-type phase regulating mechanism that sets the relative rotation phase of the driven-side rotor, which rotates integrally with at least one of the drive-side rotor, an intake camshaft, and an exhaust camshaft that rotate synchronously with a crankshaft due to the driving force of the electromotive actuator. The phase regulating mechanism uses the driving force of the electromotive actuator to make the position of an eccentric axial center orbit a rotational axial center and thereby causes an input gear that is coupled to the drive-side rotor via an Oldham coupling to rotate relative to an output gear that is fixed to the driven-side rotor. The Oldham coupling has linear grooves and rectangular projections that are slidably engaged between the drive-side rotor and an Oldham ring and between the Oldham ring and the input gear. |
