PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating apparatus for a display device capable of separating a display device bonded to a case with an adhesive from the case with a small load.SOLUTION: A separating apparatus for a display device includes a suction unit 39 for sucking a thin display device 4 which is bonded to a case 2 with an adhesive 61 so as to rotate on a pin 38. While softening the adhesive 61 with a heater 51, the suction unit 39 is lifted up to separate the thin display device 4 from the case 2 which is fixed to a holder block 21. When the suction unit 39 is rotated on the pin 38 to incline, the thin display device 4 is gradually peeled off from one end at the pin 38 side. Thus, the thin display device 4 is peed off from the case 2 with a small tensile force. By pulling down the one end of the case 2 with a tensioning part 25 provided to the holder block 21, the thin display device 4 can be peeled off from the case 2 with a smaller tensile force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
