A multispectral camera has first to N-th (where N is an integer equal to or greater than two) optical filters having different total numbers of peaks each obtained by adding together a respective number of transmittance peaks and a respective number of under-peaks. Each of the optical filters has such a characteristic that in a relationship between a wavelength λ and a respective transmittance Y, the transmittance Y periodically changes relative to a change of a variable Z associated with the wavelength λ. |
