Disclosed is a battery module having an improved structure which has good assemblability and can stably secure of a cooling passage. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the battery module comprises: a cell assembly which includes a plurality of cartridges stacked in one direction and a plurality of secondary batteries accommodated in internal spaces of the stacked cartridges; an upper end plate which is disposed above the cell assembly; a lower end plate which is disposed under the cell assembly; an inlet duct which is disposed on one side of the cell assembly and covers the one side of the cell assembly, and in which an inlet port is formed and configured so that a fluid introduced through the inlet port flows into the one side of the cell assembly, an upper end portion of the inlet duct being hooked and fixed to one end portion of the upper end plate, and a bottom end portion of the inlet duct being hooked and fixed to one end portion of the lower end plate; and a discharge duct which is disposed on the other side of the cell assembly and covers the other side of the cell assembly, and in which an outlet port is formed and configured so that a fluid discharged from the cell assembly flows out through the outlet port to the outside, an upper end portion of the discharge duct is hooked and fixed to the other end portion of the upper end plate, and a bottom end portion of the discharge duct is hooked and fixed to the other end portion of the lower end plate. |
