PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head wearing type display device with a small power consumption.SOLUTION: The head wearing type display device has: an image beam light generation unit that generates image beam light and outputs the same based on the image data; and a light guide unit that guides the image beam light to an eye of a user. The head wearing type display device includes: an image display section that provides a virtual image to the user; a control section which is connected to the image display section to transmit the image data to the image display section, and controls display of images by the image display section; and a detection section provided to at least the image display section or control section for detecting the state of eye lid of the user. The control section switches the operation mode among plural operation modes each different in power consumption depending on the state of the eye lid of the user detected by the detection section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
