PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a contact member that can suppress a pressing force to press an inside surface of a cylindrical body from varying in the circumferential direction, an image holding body, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A thin area 140, which has the thickness smaller than that of another area in the circumferential direction, is formed respectively at both ends in the circumferential direction of a contact member 116. The formation reduces the difference between a pressing force at both ends and a pressing force in another area in the circumferential direction of the contact member 116, and suppresses a pressing force to press an inside surface 108A of a cylindrical body 108 from varying in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
