A resource management method and system. The method comprises: creating a cache area to cache media resources pushed by a mobile device end in a pushing order (S10); creating a preset number of threads to carry out analysis processing on the media resources in the cache area (S20); and monitoring the occupied space of the cache area in real time, and increasing the number of the threads carrying out the analysis processing on the media resources in the cache area if the proportion of the occupied space is larger than a preset proportion (S30). By means of the technical solution, the cache area is created to cache the media resources in the pushing order and then the number of the threads carrying out the analysis processing on the media resources in the cache area is adjusted according to the proportion of the occupied space in the cache area, so that the contention caused by too many threads is avoided, serious consequences brought by the contention to an intelligent terminal are avoided, normal work and use of the intelligent terminal are ensured, and great convenience is brought to users. |
