An electronic cigarette (1) and an atomizing component (50a) thereof. The atomizing component (50a) comprises a ventilation pipe (51), an e-liquid guide thread (52a) running across the sidewall of the ventilation pipe (51), and a heating element (53) arranged in the ventilation pipe (51) and fitted onto the e-liquid guide thread (52a). Two opposite through holes (510) are provided on the sidewall of the ventilation pipe (51). The e-liquid guide thread (52a) is arranged through the two through holes (510) and the two opposite extremities of the e-liquid guide thread (52a) are exposed outside of the ventilation pipe (51). Of the two opposite extremities of the e-liquid guide thread (52a), one extremity faces upward while the other extremity faces downward. By means of the upward-facing and downward-facing arrangement of the portions of the e-liquid guide thread (52a) outside of the ventilation pipe (51), an e-liquid is introduced more evenly into the ventilation pipe (51). In addition, by means of the arrangement of two e-liquid guide threads (52b) having two extremities thereof respectively facing upward and facing downward, capability for drawing the e-liquid is increased while the e-liquid is introduced more evenly into the ventilation pipe (51). |
