Provided are an information searching method and apparatus and an electronic device. The method comprises: receiving a search term from a user via a first client provided on the electronic device; looking up other clients that have an association relationship with the first client on the electronic device, wherein the association relationship between the first client and the other clients includes that an identification in the first client can play an identification role in the other clients; and in the material of the first client and the other clients, using the search term to perform a searching operation so as to obtain a search result related to the search term and display same. The technical solution provided in the present invention can simplify searching steps and improve searching efficiency, and information obtained by searching is richer and more detailed so as to provide convenience for a user to use the information. |
