PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device particularly suitable for use in application to a light source of a luminaire by achieving white light high in color temperature and color-rendering property.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent device comprises: a negative electrode; a positive electrode; and light-emitting units between the negative and positive electrodes, each including light-emitting layer containing at least an organic compound. The organic electroluminescent device has a structure in which an electric charge generation layer is located between the first and second light-emitting units; the positive electrode, the second light-emitting unit, the first light-emitting unit and the negative electrode are stacked in this order. The organic electroluminescent device has two peak wavelengths in a blue wavelength region of 440-490 nm, and a bottom wavelength in a blue to green wavelength region of 490-510 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
