A bending machine (1) has a main spindle (2) which supports a die (51). There are two counter dies (50) each mounted on a working arm (3) which rotate about the main spindle (2). The working arms (3) are driven by link arms (4) which are acted on by a translational drive (6). There is versatile three-point bending caused by three die points, two on the working arms (3) and one (51) on the die support shaft (2). The working arm (3) drive includes a translational component (6) which extends through the die support shaft (2(c)), and which is connected to the link arms (4). This achieves excellent symmetry and compactness. |
