A system, comprising: a grid server for receiving pricing grids from bidder clients for an auction lot of objects; wherein each pricing grid comprises price relativity factors corresponding to desired attributes of objects in the auction lot; and an auction server for conducting an online auction by receiving bid prices for the auction lot from the bidder clients based on the pricing grids; wherein the auction server determines a winning bid price and a winning pricing grid for the auction lot; wherein prices payable for the objects are determined by multiplying the winning bid price by the price relativity factors in the winning pricing grid that correspond to actual attributes of the objects that are determined after the online auction. |
