PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated drug delivery device that overcomes "needle-phobia" and reduces pain in a patient.SOLUTION: A device 100 includes an upper housing 101 and a lower housing 102 in which the upper housing is configured to move relative to the lower housing as a result of application of external force to permit a user of the device to control the rate at which the drug is administered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
