PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation method capable of efficiently separating hydrogen using a molecular sieve membrane and preventing the occurrence of explosion due to a hydrogen oxygen reaction without using diluted gas.SOLUTION: A gas mixture containing hydrogen and oxygen is supplied underwater into one space out of one space and the other space across a molecular sieve membrane separated by the molecular sieve membrane, and hydrogen in the gas mixture is selectively permeated from one space to the other space across the molecular sieve membrane so as to directly separate hydrogen from the gas mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
