According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a touch screen for receiving first and second input signals based on different input methods; and a control module for controlling the touch screen to display an event item related to an attribute of an electronic pen when an input of the first input signal lasts for a predetermined time or more, and controlling the touch screen to display a function related to the event item based on the second input signal when the second input signal is received while the input of the first input signal and event item displaying is maintained. Therefore, the electronic device can quickly and intuitionally execute a frequently used function in an electronic pen related application.
