PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, device, software, and system for developing an application to be executed in a workflow management system.SOLUTION: A workflow is represented as phases and transitions. A method includes: providing an interface 300 that includes a transition table TT to which data entry defining the transitions is added and permits selection between automatic and manual operation parameters to the entry; and providing an interface 400 for defining conditions for database access when the manual parameter is selected for a specific transition. The interface 300 automatically defines meta data according to the selection (automatic or manual) of the parameter and conditions to be associated with the transition, and the method includes a constitutional step of automatically invoking a command 502 and enabling the parameter (automatic or manual) according to the meta data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B |
