PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a crack in a superconducting wire effectively by winding the superconducting wire so that a tape-shaped reinforcing body is positioned on the outside and a superconductor on the inside. CONSTITUTION:When a Ba-Y-Cu system oxide is used as a superconductor 1, powder previously brought to the composition of a superconductive material is placed onto a reinforcing body 2 consisting of Cu molded to a tape shape in specified thickness, and molded to the tape shape through hot working. A superconductor wire is wound in succession so that the superconductor 1 is positioned inside a coil and the reinforcing body 2 outside the coil. Each superconducting wire is wound without clearances in the superconducting coil, but respective superconducting wire may be wound while proper spaces are formed among each superconducting wire. Accordingly, tensile stress is hardly applied to the superconductors 1 positioned on the inside on winding, thus effectively preventing the generation of cracks in the superconductors 1. |
