This electrophoresis device comprises: a first flow passage extending in a first direction such that a sample and a buffer solution flow therethrough; a sample collecting part disposed at an end portion of the first flow passage to collect the sample; electrodes respectively disposed on both sides of the first flow passage in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction so as to apply a voltage to the first flow passage in the second direction; second flow passages which respectively communicate with both sides of the first flow passage in the second direction, so that the electrodes are accommodated therein and a second buffer solution flows therethrough; and partition walls which are fixed to communicating portions between the first and second flow passages with a predetermined bonding strength, so as to block the movement of substances between the first and second flow passages. The partition walls are formed of a gel material having ion permeability.
