This organic electroluminescence device comprises: a base material having a recessed section in the upper surface thereof; a reflective layer provided along at least the surface of the recessed section; a light-transmitting fill layer filled inside the recessed section via the reflective layer; a first electrode having light transmitting properties and light reflecting properties, provided on at least the upper layer side of the fill layer; an organic layer including at least a light-emitting layer, provided on the upper layer side of the first electrode; and a second electrode having light transmitting properties and light reflecting properties, provided on the upper layer side of the organic layer. Part of the reflective layer and part of the first electrode are in contact.
