The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizer and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a polarizer comprising the steps of swelling, dyeing, crosslinking, color preserving, and first elongating a film for forming a polarizer, and manufacturing a polarizer having minimized color change even if being exposed at a high temperature condition for a long time by secondly elongating the film for forming a polarizer by elongation ratio of 1.01-1.1 in the color preserving step.
