摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit which is constituted in such a way that an optical axis is decentered from the outer diameter center of a cylindrical member, and which nonetheless can hold high durability against high-temperature environment, and to provide an endoscope and a production method of the optical unit.SOLUTION: An optical unit 200 includes a cylindrical member 51 having wall thicknesses different in the circumferential direction, and a translucent member 53 provided at one axial end side of the cylindrical member. The optical unit further includes a joining member 85 that joins the translucent member 53 and the cylindrical member 51 together and seals one axial end side of the cylindrical member. The thickness of the joining member 85 at a part where a lateral side 81 of the translucent member and an inner peripheral face 83 of the cylindrical member are joined is configured in such a way that the thickness at a large wall-thickness region (thickness t) of the cylindrical member is larger than a small wall-thickness region (thickness t) thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
