PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a driver from feeling vibration via a steering column when an instrument panel reinforcement bends and vibrates.SOLUTION: An instrument panel reinforcement (20) includes a bush (30) connecting a first reinforcement (21) to a second reinforcement (22). The bush includes an elastic element (33) disposed between an outer cylinder (31) and an inner cylinder (32), and the elastic element (33) forms a pair of liquid chambers (34a to 34d) and orifice passages (34e, 34f). A liquid (35) is filled into the liquid chambers and the orifice passages. The bush can attenuate the vibration of the instrument panel reinforcements by using an elastic deformation of the elastic element and viscosity of the liquid moving between the paired liquid chambers. If the vibration of the instrument panel reinforcements is attenuated, it is possible to suppress the vibration from being transmitted to a driver via a steering column and suppress the driver from feeling the vibration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
