In order to inhibit air bubble adhesion in reaction cells and enable antifouling of the reaction cells using a coating agent in only specific analysis items, an automatic analysis device is configured which is provided with: a sample disk mechanism; a reaction disk for accommodating the reaction cells; reagent disk mechanisms; a sample-supplying dispensation mechanism which supplies samples to the reaction cells; a reagent-supplying dispensation mechanism which supplies prescribed amounts of reagents to the reaction cells; a detection unit which irradiates, with light, the reaction cells having, formed therein, mixed solutions of the samples and the reagents, and detects the light transmitted through the reaction cells to detect the optical characteristics of the mixed solutions; an antifouling-film formation mechanism which supplies an antifouling solution to the reaction cells to form antifouling films on the inner wall surfaces of the reaction cells; and an antifouling-film removal mechanism which supplies a removal solution to the reaction cells to remove the antifouling films from the inner wall surfaces of the reaction cells. |
