The present invention relates to a carrier comprising a jujube concentrate for removing heavy metals and a preparation method thereof, wherein jujube concentrate is used in preparing a carrier for removing heavy metal by using jujube, thereby increasing concentration of a polymer compound having high efficiency in adsorption reaction with heavy metals and a polymer compound having excellent cross-linking properties to maximize a specific surface area of a carrier and capability of the carrier for removing heavy metals. The preparation method of the carrier comprising the jujube concentrate for removing heavy metals according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: preparing the jujube concentrate; mixing alginate powder with the jujube concentrate and agitating the mixture to prepare a jujube-alginate solution; adding the jujube-alginate solution dropwise to a curing solution to prepare jujube-alginate beads; and freeze-drying the jujube-alginate beads to remove moisture in the beads.
