This fuel cell module has an electrode-membrane assembly and a pair of separators. The electrode-membrane assembly includes an electrode portion and a pair of gas diffusion layers. The electrode portion includes a polyelectrolyte membrane, an anode electrode provided on a first surface of the polyelectrolyte membrane, and a cathode electrode provided on a second surface of the polyelectrolyte membrane. The pair of gas diffusion layers are in contact with the anode surface of the electrode portion on which the anode electrode is provided and the cathode surface of the electrode portion on which the cathode electrode is provided. The separators sandwich the electrode-membrane assembly from the anode surface and cathode surface sides. The electrode-membrane assembly and each of the separators are adhered to each other via a plurality of resin portions made of a resin that contains fibers in at least a part thereof. At least a part of each of the gas diffusion layers is impregnated with each of the plurality of resin portions.
