摘要 Provided are a printing system, a management device, and a management method, whereby platemaking conditions and printing conditions for obtaining a high-quality printed object during flexographic printing can be easily grasped. An evaluation area is detected from an original image, said evaluation area having at least one item that can be evaluated among items evaluated using an evaluation image for image characteristics evaluation. The characteristics of the original image are measured from the evaluation area and first characteristics data is obtained. A flexographic printing characteristics model is stored that indicates the correspondence between: second characteristics data obtained by measuring beforehand the characteristics of an evaluation image; and platemaking conditions and printing conditions for a flexographic printing plate when printing the evaluation image that is the source for measuring the second characteristics data. A target value is set for the first characteristics data. The flexographic printing characteristics model is referred to and platemaking conditions and printing conditions that correspond to the target value for the first characteristics data are set. A determination is made regarding whether or not to correct at least either the platemaking conditions or the printing conditions, on the basis of the results of a comparison between the first characteristics data obtained by measuring the original image and the target value.
