PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical crusher which changes a portion, in which wear of a hammer and a liner develops, to a portion, in which only a small amount of wear occurs, with a relatively easy operation to improve the yield, minimize the number of ring hammers etc. to be discarded, and reduce costs for consumable components and the frequency of large scale replacement work.SOLUTION: The invention includes: a cylindrical casing 2; a liner 3 provided on an inner peripheral surface of the casing 2; a rotary shaft 5 provided at a center part of the casing 2 and having a vertical rotary axis line 4; and a rotor 7 which includes a hammer group composed of ring hammers 9 arranged parallel to each other around the rotary axis line 4 and is attached to the rotary shaft 5.
