PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide macrocyclic lactone compounds and methods for their use.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a device for intracorporeal use including an implant or temporary device and at least one source of a compound myolimus or derivative thereof. The present invention also provides a method of inhibiting cell proliferation by local administration of a therapeutically effective amount of a compound myolimus or derivative thereof.
