The present description relates to a preparation method for rod-shaped molybdenum oxide and a preparation method for a molybdenum oxide composite. A preparation method for rod-shaped molybdenum oxide, according to the present invention, can be performed under a condition of low temperature and pressure and thereby enables mass production of rod-shaped molybdenum oxide. And a preparation method for a molybdenum oxide composite, according to the present invention, enables synthesizing in a temperature which is equal to or lower than the boiling point of ethanol and reducing of the amount of ethanol solvent use.
