This method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor is characterized by including: a first step for preparing a capacitor element provided with an anode body on which a dielectric layer is formed; a second step for impregnating the capacitor element with a first treatment fluid containing at least an electroconductive polymer and a first solvent; and a third step, after the second step, for impregnating the capacitor element with a second treatment liquid containing a polyol compound having three or more hydroxyl groups per molecule.
