PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature rise of a switching element, in an electric vehicle mounting a step-up converter.SOLUTION: In an electric vehicle 200 including first and second batteries 20, 23, a first voltage converter 10 performing bidirectional voltage conversion between the first and second batteries 20, 23 and an output path 26, and including a plurality of switching elements 31-34 for switching connection of the first and second batteries 20, 23 in series or parallel, a motor generator 50 for driving the vehicle, and a control unit 100 for turning each switching element 31-34 on/off, the control unit 100 switches connection of the first and second batteries 20, 23 and the output path 26, or connection between the first and second batteries 20, 23, based on the working point of a switching element, the temperature of which has exceeded a predetermined threshold, among the plurality of switching elements, and the motor generator 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
