PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt transmission system capable of realizing stable transmission even in equipment whose center distance varies by vibration or the like while reducing a belt initial tension.SOLUTION: A belt transmission system 1 comprises: a drive pulley 3; a driven pulley 5; an endless belt 11; and a first idler 7 and a second idler 9. The first idler 7 is fixed in a state of pressing the belt 11 to the drive pulley 3 on a tension side of the drive pulley 3, and the second idler 9 can press the belt 11 to the drive pulley 3 on a loose side of the drive pulley 3. Transmission of power to the driven pulley 5 is turned on or off depending on whether to contact the second idler 9 with the belt 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
