PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor capable of protecting a temperature measuring contact from corrosion, maintaining measuring accuracy, and improving electric noise resistance and response to measurement.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 comprises: a sheath tube 2; a pair of thermocouple elements 3 inserted into the sheath tube 2; a temperature measuring contact 311 between the paired thermocouple element 3; an insulating holder 4 disposed in a clearance within the sheath tube 2; and a tip end protection tube 5 covering an outer circumference of a tip end portion 21 of the sheath tube 2 and surrounding the temperature measuring contact 311. The tip end protection tube 5 includes a base end-side tubular portion 51 covering the outer circumference of the tip end portion 21 of the sheath tube 2; and a tip end-side tubular portion 52 formed at a position adjacent to a tip end side of the base end-side tubular portion 51 to be smaller in diameter than the base end-side tubular portion 51. An insulating first filler 61A in which the temperature measuring contact 311 is buried is filled in a tip end side portion within the tip end-side tubular portion 52, and an air layer 62 is formed in a remaining portion within the tip end-side tubular portion 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
