PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-containing paper having high electric conductivity considering the carbon content, and small anisotropy in the electric conductivity.SOLUTION: The carbon-containing paper includes a layer of stacked fiber. The fiber layer includes a scaly carbon allotrope in addition to the fiber. In the case of a scaly carbon allotrope, the probability of the formation of many electron paths in the carbon-containing paper is higher in comparison with in the case of a carbon allotrope of carbon nano-tube with the same mass, in the case of a carbon allotrope of carbon fiber with the same mass, or in the case of a spherical carbon allotrope with the same mass. Consequently, the fiber layer which contains a scaly carbon allotrope results in high electric conductivity considering the carbon content. Furthermore, the scaly carbon allotrope has smaller anisotropy in comparison with a carbon fiber with an aligned orientation or a carbon nano-tube with an aligned orientation. As a result, the carbon-containing paper having high electric conductivity considering the carbon content, and small anisotropy in the electric conductivity can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
