To facilitate the formation of a filter comprising a capacitor and an inductor, the present invention relates to a synthetic electron structure which includes at least one feature layer and at least one adjacent via layer. The layers are extended to an X-Y plane and have a height of z. The structure includes at least one capacitor which is combined in series or parallel with at least one inductor to provide at least one filter. The at least one capacitor includes at least one feature layer is interposed between at least one feature layer and at least one via in at least adjacent via layer. At least one via is erected in at least one capacitor, and includes at least one inductor which is extended to at least one feature layer and an adjacent via layer in an X-Y plane.
