The device (100) has a stopper lever (140) having a stopper portion (142), and a coupling region (141). The stopper lever is pivotally coupled about a rotation axis (102) relative to a base body (106). The stopper lever is pivotally mounted with the coupling region about another rotation axis (103). The stopper lever is coupled to an adjusting lever (120) such that a rotation of the adjusting lever causes rotation of the stopper lever about the former rotation axis. The former rotation axis is transationally displaceble along an adjusting direction (107). An independent claim is also included for a ski binding.
