In the present invention, there is disclosed a method of combating phytopathogenic diseases on crop plants, which method comprises applying to the crop plants or the locus thereof being infested with said phytopathogenic disease an effective amount of a) 4- (2, 2-difluoro-1, 3-benzodioxol-7-yl) pyrrole-3-carbonitrile in association with b) either 2-(thiazol-4-yl) benzimidazole; or 1- (P-allyloxy-2, 4-dichlorophenylethyl) imidazole, which synergistically enhances the activity against phytopathogenic diseases. The invented method is suitable for the protection of propagation stock of plants, combating phytopathogenic diseases in the post-harvest storage period of harvested fruits and for seed dressing, wherein the phytopathogenic fungi belongs to the class of Fungi imperfecti. The fungicidal composition contains a fungicidally active combination of component a) and b), wherein the weight ratio of a) to b) is between 20:1 and 1:20. |
