872,699. Two-part couplings. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. Jan. 21, 1959 [Feb. 17, 1958], No. 2231/59. Class 38 (1). A terminal connector for use with a printed circuit comprises a body 12 of insulating material having a plurality of openings 12b and chambers 12k into which fit terminals 20, the arms 23 of which make contact with conducting material 10b on the circuit panel 10 when projection 10p is inserted into the body 12. The terminal 20 has two pairs of tangs which are respectively bent into engagement with a conductor wire and its insulation. The ends 25 of arms 23 are bent to form lips for engaging shoulder 25s and wall 12u of the body to prevent longitudinal movement. Lateral movement of the terminal is prevented by integral bent ears 24 engaging the sides of chambers 12k (Fig. 5 not shown). Members 24 also limit the insertion of the circuit board into the body. Dividers 12d on body 12 locate board 10 for correct insertion into the sockets and flanges 12f support the board.
