Provided is a contactless power supplying system which is efficient and can be built of small coils by appropriately limiting power to be inputted into a transmitting coil. In the contactless power supplying system, power transmitted from a transmitting coil 12 is received by a receiving coil 22 by means of magnetic coupling, and the contactless power supplying system includes a power control unit 11 configured to cause power from a power source 300 to flow through the transmitting coil 12 and a control unit 15 configured to perform power limiting control of limiting the power flowing through the transmitting coil 12 by controlling the power control unit 11. The control unit 15 determines a magnitude relationship between an induced current Im and a receiving coil current Is based on a coil coupling condition between the transmitting coil 12 and the receiving coil 22, and selects a control mode to be employed for the power limiting control based on a result of the determination. |
