The present invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus for doorways comprising: a first handle, combined to one side of a door, to operate pressing; a second handle, combined to the other side of the door, to operates pulling; a door lock release unit which is located inside the door and is interlocked with the pressing and pulling operations of the first and second handles to open the door; and an antibacterial unit, installed inside the first handle or the second handle, to spray antibacterial materials to the outer side of either or both of the first and second handles by the external force applied by the pressing operation of the first handle or the pulling operation of the second handle. According to an embodiment, the present invention can sterilize the handle and hands of a user by spraying the antibacterial materials on the hands of the user when the user pulls or pushes the door in a door opening direction, thereby preventing germs from spreading. Particularly, the present invention is useful in a public area such as toilets, doorways and theaters where a number of people use and where can be contaminated with a virus such as germs and influenza by spraying the antibacterial materials on the handle of the door or the hands of the user, thereby providing psychological stability and hygiene and improving the convenience of use. |
