PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution film-making method capable of drying a casted film in a comparatively short time without causing thickness unevenness and foam formation when producing a thin film, and an installation.SOLUTION: Drying of a casted film 45 is done by irradiation with an infrared ray. The air velocity of the environment in the vicinity of a film surface of the casted film 45 is brought under control of 2.0 m/s or less at this time. Irradiation of the infrared ray is performed so that a temperature T1 of the film surface at a first position on the film surface of the casted film 45 is equal to or higher than a temperature T2 of a supporting body at a second position present outside in a width direction from the first position on a casting band 42 on which the casted film 45 is not formed. Irradiation of the infrared ray is performed until the residual amount of a solvent in the casted film 45 is 100 mass% or less. |
