<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly stop leakage or eliminate the risk of leakage, in a flange joint in which leakage is detected or leakage is likely to occur. <P>SOLUTION: The method for repairing a flange joint includes the steps of: joining both ends of a band-shaped sealing member 1 to form a ring shape; covering a flange outer periphery F1 with the ring-shaped sealing member 1; winding a fastening band 2 on the outside of the sealing member 1 to form a ring shape via a stopper 3 and fastening the fastening band 2 to fix the stopper 3; checking leakage in a bolt/nut F3 of the flange joint F to be repaired; removing the bolt/nut F3 in which leakage is identified to insert a repair jig 10 into a bolt hole of the bolt/nut F3; and filling the bolt hole with a resin sealing material via the repair jig 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
